50 000 kr, handed out by Crown Princess Victoria in

Sofia is chosen to be in the jury of the music contest for
youth - Musik Direkt. The final is held in Karlskrona May

band held a concert at the House of Sweden in Washington
D.C. and also visited New York for Sirius Radio.

February 1st 2007 is the big day for the release of Sofia's
first solo album White / Ceaskat. The release
takes place in Jokkmokk at the big winter festival
Jokkmokks marknad. Join Sofia in the celebration! See under

November 8th 2006 Sofia got the honor to receive the
Gevalia Music Award 2006 of 50 000 kr. The prize is given
to "a young talent who is on the verge of a breakthrough in
the music life of Sweden". The ceremony took place in the

As
if this wasn’t enough she also got the great honor to
receive the Rubus Arcticus Konst- och
kulturstipendium of 100 000 kr for her music,
handed out by Norrbottens läns landsting November 15th

During the autumn of 2006 she has been hosting a music show
in Swedish radio. Listen to Máilbmi Sundays at
18.00 in channel P2.
She also hosted the international song contest Liet-Lávlot,
which this year was set in Östersund on October the 14th.
The event was broadcasted live in radio, channel P2, and
filmed for tv, The Swedish Broadcasting network’s (SVT’s)
Veckans konsert.
In October 2006 there was a mini tour in Västerbotten and
some solo performances in various places. Read more about
